What kind of food to feed

Is Low-fat, high-fibre food good but sorry not for babies

Babies need proportionately more fat in their diet than adults, so don’t give low fat milk or yogurt as they need nutrient dense foods to fuel their rapid growth. Too much fibre, I have seen some mothers start weaning with oats….please oats are not for kids, many can deplete the body of vital minerals and fill up your baby’s small tummy before he gets the nutrients he needs. A normal balanced home cooked meal consisting of cereals in the form of rice, wheat, pulses or dals , milk and its products along with fruit and vegetables is good enough to meet the requirement.
