DIET OF OUR ANCESTORS
1.They ate half the fat we do & 3 times the protein.
2.The fat they ate was good and much more polyunsaturated than saturated , the complete reverse of ours.
3.No refined carbohydrates or ground flour (bread, pasta, noodles, cookies, biscuits) were consumed. Yet they had the energy to travel 100 of miles a week on foot while carrying heavy objects.
4.Their calcium intake was twice ours & sodium intake less than 1/4th.
5.They ate 5-10 times the amount of fibre we do. No incidence of colon or any other type of cancer is documented.
6.Their foods were always low in calories but nutritionally dense, high in all essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, oils.
