WHY AM I HUNGRY EVEN AFTER MY MEALS????
I am sure that lots of you who are reading this article have felt at least once in your lives the need to grab a little snack minutes after you’ve finished eating.
Most of the times this feeling of hunger is caused by the sudden variation of the sugar levels in the blood. After eating, the sugar from the food is dissipated onto the blood.
At this point pancreas produces insulin , a hormone which makes the body redirect the sugar towards liver where it will be stored as glycogen.
If our breakfast or any other meal is rich in sugar , the sugar level in our blood will rapidly increase and then suddenly decrease. This is what causes the empty stomach sensation even after a very rich meal. Usually it is a symptomatic effect of an eating disorder.
Keep these arctiles coming as they’ve opened many new doors for me.
